For sole traders in Greater Manchester
Work finds you.
Tell GetGraft what you do and how far you will travel. When someone near you needs that doing, the job lands on your phone, with the task and the rough area, never their address until they pick you. No paying to be looked at, and no lead fees.
How it works
- Set up your profile. Your trades, your base postcode, how far you will go. Two minutes on the form below. Brogan checks every profile himself before it goes live.
- Jobs come to you. Local people tell GetGraft what needs doing. GetGraft matches the job to the people with the right skills closest to it and sends it by text: the task, the area, when they want it. You say "I can do it" with one tap.
- They pick, then you get the address. The customer sees who said yes and chooses. Only then do they share where they live and their number. GetGraft only takes a small percentage from the worker once the job is marked done. Customers pay no fee.
Not when someone looks at your number. Not when you are shortlisted. Not when the lead goes dead. Done means done.
What it costs
- Joining costs nothing
- Matched jobs sent to your phone
- No monthly fee, no credits, no lead fees
- Customers pay GetGraft nothing
Once payment through the site is switched on, GetGraft keeps 8% of the price from the worker, only after a job is finished and paid. That is at least £2 and never more than £75. You will see the exact amount before you say yes to anything. The smallest job on GetGraft is £30, so every job is worth the trip. We are new, so we cannot promise how many jobs there will be at first.
Where we are
GetGraft works anywhere in the UK, but we are starting at home. The first traders are in Salford, Manchester, Oldham, Bolton, Stockport, Trafford, Bury, Rochdale, Wigan and Tameside. If you are outside Greater Manchester, sign up anyway and we will tell you straight when your area opens.
Get on the list
Tell us who you are and what you do. Brogan will text you back himself, usually the same day. Need work doing instead? Pick the second option and say what it is.
